E1 The instrument was built in 1987 for a Protestant parish (Christelijke Gereformeerde Kerk) in Haamstede, Zeeland (Netherlands) by René Nijsse, Dutch organbuilder (Oud- Sabbinge). The instrument was bought back in 2023 by Nijsse who restored it (replacement of the bellows skins and consolidation of the feet of the pipes of the prestant). In 2024, the instrument was reassembled in the church of Notre-Dame de l'Assomption.
The church was erected from the eleventh century and completed at the end of the thirteenth century. It suffered ransacking during the Hundred Years' War and a fire during the Wars of Religion. It was rebuilt in the sixteenth century. It benefited from a restoration campaign from 1881, when the portal and the bell tower were completely redone. Source
